Broomfield Girls Football Academy

        

Our Sixth Form has our own Ladies Football Academy in conjunction with Broomfield Ladies FC.

The Chelmer Valley & Broomfield FC A-Level Scheme aims to give all players the opportunity to fulfil their academic and footballing potential through the delivery of a technical programme designed for their individual sporting and academic needs.

These technical elements are combined with Physical, psychological and social areas of player development, plus tactical understanding.

Our players MUST be encouraged, through the correct environment to be not fearful of making decisions and learning from those decisions whether they are right or wrong.

Match situations should be treated in such a manner where they simply offer the opportunity to the players to put into practice the habits and standards they have been taught within the coaching environment. Post match feedback should then follow in both an individual and team basis.

Good habits require patience and determination in order to establish:

Good Coaching + Good Habits = Good players.

How It Works:

* Training to take place Monday, Wednesday and Thursday after school 3:00-4:30

* Fixtures on Sunday in the Essex County Women’s League (Senior).

* Players must be a part of the Chelmer Valley Sixth Form and must be up to date with all academic studies in order to train and play

* Full training and fixtures led by Chris Isted to the values, ethos and philosophies set by the School and Club

* Full training kit and tracksuit provided by CVHS (custom design created by CVHS)

* Additional training sessions through half term breaks with pre-season starting in the summer holidays

* Total cost to player: £150 for the season to cover the cost of referee fees and pitch hire
