Support Staff
AFTERNOON RECEPTIONIST
Required as soon as possible
Fixed term until August 2025
20 hours per week Monday – Friday 12.30 – 4.30 pm
38.2 working weeks per year
Scale 3, Point 5 (Actual salary £11,230.92 pa)
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with relevant experience and a high level of personal drive to provide an efficient and friendly reception service for the school, acting as first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff and visitors. At times you will also be required to provide administrative support to facilitate the smooth running of the school office, therefore a good working knowledge of Word and Excel is essential.
Chelmer Valley is a popular and oversubscribed, mixed, 11-18 comprehensive with 1200 students on roll. It is an exceptionally vibrant, friendly and supportive community built on strong relationships which allow our students to thrive.
