TEACHER OF ENGLISH
Required September 2025
Chelmer Valley High School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of English teach classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential to teach A level. The successful candidate will be fully supported by a large, welcoming, and friendly department and joining an excellent teaching team. The post would be suitable for an ECT or a teacher with experience.
You will have a natural flair for delivering creative and vibrant lessons which enthuse and motivate students. You will have excellent communication skills and be enthusiastic about your professional development.
Chelmer Valley is a popular and oversubscribed, mixed, 11-18 comprehensive with 1200 students on roll. Support Staff
RECEPTIONIST
Required as soon as possible
Fixed term until August 2025
20 hours per week Monday - Friday 12.30 - 4.30 pm
38.2 working weeks per year
Scale 3, Point 5 (Actual salary £11,230.92 pa)
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with relevant experience and a high level of personal drive to provide an efficient and friendly reception service for the school, acting as first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff and visitors. At times you will also be required to provide administrative support to facilitate the smooth running of the school office, therefore a good working knowledge of Word and Excel is essential.
