Teaching Staff

TEACHER OF RELIGION, PHILOSOPHY, ETHICS/SOCIOLOGY AND ENGLISH

Required September 2025

 

helmer Valley High School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Religion, Philosophy, Ethics/Sociology and English to teach classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the option to also teach A level. The balance of teaching between subjects will be discussed at interview and applications are encouraged from both RPE and English teachers. The successful candidate will be fully supported by a large, welcoming, and friendly Department and joining an excellent teaching team.  The post would be suitable for an ECT or a teacher with experience. 

You will have a natural flair for delivering creative and vibrant lessons which enthuse and motivate students. You will have excellent communication skills and be enthusiastic about your professional development.

TEACHER OF PHYSICS 

Required September 2025

Full time/part time considered

 

We require an inspirational and innovative Teacher of Physics to join our successful and committed department where examination results are consistently high. The Science Department consists of fourteen teachers, dedicated preparation rooms for each science, an observatory, an allotment and wildlife area.  Uptake for Triple Science and A-level is high, as is GCSE Astronomy, which is offered as an additional GCSE.
